The Transcribing feature offers a suite of smart tools for automatically generating, translating and managing captions and video details. This functionality not only improves accessibility for a global audience but also speeds up content creation and boosts viewer engagement by providing a textual representation of the audio content and gives viewers features such as chapters and moments.

Language detection

During automatic transcription, the language of the video is detected based on the first 30 seconds of audio. If the first 30 seconds of your video do not contain any speech (for example, if they only contain music or silence), the automatic language detection may not work correctly.

If your video does not have speech in the first 30 seconds, it is recommended to manually set the transcription language when requesting a transcription.
